On November 18th, DSP successfully completed the topping-out ceremony of our new Eumseong plant located in Chungcheongbuk-do. In traditional architectural culture, a topping-out ceremony is a ceremony in which the framework of the building is completed and the last ridge is raised, and its meaning is an important event to pray for a new beginning, safety, and prosperity in the future. This topping-out ceremony was not just a ceremony, but a meaningful time that symbolized the development potential and future vision of DSP’s new Eumseong plant.
Starting with the new construction progress report, CEO Kim Jin-hyung's greetings, welcome speeches, architectural rendering, and future business visions were introduced, and in particular, we had time to confirm the full-fledged leap forward through the ridge beam plaque attachment ceremony.
The Eumseong plant is a state-of-the-art production facility of about 16,500 m2 and aims to mass-produce key items such as DSP's strategic product line K-Panel and automotive NEW AUTONOX.
The DSP Eumseong palnt manufactured all building materials such as roofing, K-Panel, interior and exterior materials, and curtain walls from DSP products. The Eumseong plant serves as a living showroom that directly experiences the excellence of our products and conveys trust.
The Eumseong plant will be completed in the 3rd quarter of 2026 and will be fully operational. When the plant is completed, DSP will have a balanced production infrastructure with Gimhae headquarters plant, effectively responding to increasing orders and product diversification. This will soon lead to strengthening customer service and support competitiveness both domestically and internationally, and it is expected to have a great synergy effect on the growth of the DSP and the expansion of the global market.
K-Panel is an innovative DSP product with excellent flatness, stain resistance, fire safety and production efficiency that can be produced up to 6 meters long at a time. In addition, the DSP’s custom designed core attachment makes it easy to install while maintaining excellent flatness, which is highly utilized in the architecture and interior industries. The Eumseong Plant will have the capacity to mass-produce such K-Panel, and based on its excellent logistics accessibility with the metropolitan area and the central area, it is expected to increase its nationwide delivery time.
Starting with this ceremony, DSP Eumseong plant is expected to further accelerate production capacity expansion, supply chain stabilization, and specialization by various product lines, further strengthening its location in the high-end steel material market.
