DSP Named a Leading Company
in Energy Efficiency Innovation

 DSP has been designated as a leading company in energy efficiency innovation under the “SME and Mid-sized Company Energy Efficiency Innovation Leading Project.” 
This designation recognizes DSP as a company with strong potential in energy savings and the transition to a high-efficiency production system, and it is expected to become a very important milestone for strengthening our sustainable management and manufacturing competitiveness going forward.

 This initiative, jointly led by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment and the Korea Energy Agency, is designed to provide tailored support across the full cycle of energy diagnosis, facility investment, and efficiency management for SMEs and mid-sized companies with high energy consumption.Its purpose goes beyond simply reducing electricity use; it is intended to help companies fundamentally transform their production and operations into a lower-consumption, higher-efficiency structure.

 Being selected as a leading company in this program means that DSP has been recognized as a company with significant room for improvement in energy efficiency and the capability to drive meaningful innovation. In a manufacturing environment, energy efficiency is directly linked to productivity, cost competitiveness, ESG management, and long-term business sustainability, making this designation especially meaningful for strengthening DSP’s future competitiveness.

 Through this designation, DSP will be able to take advantage of a range of benefits, including energy diagnosis support, preferential treatment for subsidy programs, policy financing linkages, ESG management diagnosis and consulting, and energy-related information-sharing programs. Among these, the most notable aspect is that support is provided across the full cycle, not only for diagnosis but also for actual facility investment and operational efficiency improvements.

 DSP plans to use this opportunity to pursue energy efficiency improvements in a more systematic way, reduce waste across production processes and equipment operations, and build a more efficient and resilient production base. Ultimately, this will contribute not only to stronger cost competitiveness, but also to carbon reduction and the establishment of a more eco-friendly production system.

 This designation also clearly reinforces the direction DSP should continue to pursue. Beyond technological capability and product quality competitiveness, DSP must grow into a company that is also built on sustainability, efficiency, and responsible production systems. Being named a leading company in energy efficiency innovation is both the first step in that direction and a recognition of our management philosophy from outside the company.

 Going forward, DSP will use the energy diagnosis results and improvement tasks developed through this program to gradually implement facility investments and operational enhancements. Through this, we aim to create a virtuous cycle that simultaneously delivers higher productivity, lower costs, and stronger ESG competitiveness. With this designation, DSP will take another step forward as a more efficient and more sustainable company.
